Many people in the local area have found that renting a piano proves to be an appealing alternative to buying one. You can enjoy a well-maintained piano in your home without the expense of a new piano, and the hassle of buying one used.

With this program you will find only well-maintained pianos at very reasonable monthly rates, especially with the included ongoing tuning and normal maintenance at no extra charge.

Why Rent?

Practicing on an electric keyboard can be frustrating and hindering to all but the very beginning level students. Renting a piano on a month-to-month basis offers an ideal alternative to those families who would like to upgrade to a real piano without investing a significant sum of money in something they're not quite sure they will want to keep for many years. In addition, renting a well-maintained piano is often a beneficial way to upgrade from an old “junker” piano before a family may be ready to buy a brand new instrument.

Option to Purchase

If you're pleased with the piano and would like to purchase it, we will apply the first six months' payments towards the purchase price of the piano you're renting or any piano in my inventory at the time which is of equal or greater value.

Details and Rates

Spinet pianos and "basic" console pianos $65/month (like the one pictured above)
Quality console pianos and studio uprights $75/month
Minimum three months
No maximum—keep renting as long as you like
Delivery and pre-paid pickup charges are applied at the beginning (typically $180 each way; certain situations extra)
Option to purchase—first six-months' rental payments applied as a credit towards the purchase price. If you buy the same piano you're renting, the pre-paid pickup fee is also applied towards the purchase of the piano.
No cancellation fee—when you're done with the piano, simply call and have it picked up.
Rental fee never increases as long as you continuously rent the same piano.
