More than Just a "Piano Tuner"

Despite its straightforward, familiar appearance, the piano is actually one of the most complex instruments in the world, containing literally thousands of parts. All of these parts—wood, felt, and metal—kept in good condition and adjustment, will work together to enable you to produce beautiful music with the least amount of effort and frustration. Over time, though, these parts wear and fall out of ideal adjustment, making it much more of an effort to coax the same beautiful music out of your piano. Piano tuning by itself may fall vastly short of the service your instrument actually needs.

As a piano tuner, or better, a piano technician, my aim is to provide complete service, which often includes much more than just tuning your piano. When I come to do a piano tuning appointment, I will evaluate the current condition and compare it to your specific needs and expectations. Then I can supply an easy plan of service to bring the piano into optimum condition for your situation. Once you are appreciating and enjoying this investment in your instrument, it is much simpler to settle into a routine for keeping your piano in good condition, letting you enjoy beautiful music for years to come.

COVID-19 Update:
We will reschedule if we have any COVID-like symptoms or have been in contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19. Please reschedule your appointment if anyone in your household is exhibiting COVID-like symptoms the day of your appointment. Note that we generally do not wear (or require) face masks. However, if you have concerns about a household member, at your request we will wear a face covering when we are likely to be in proximity with someone in your home.
